Honor your father and your mother.

What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.

Remember 1 Thing

The Almighty God who created us placed us in families.

God commands us to honor our parents and others in authority by our words and deeds.

Modern Family

  • How do most children on television today relate to their parents? How did they relate a generation ago?

  • Does television portray an accurate reflection of the American family?

  • How have parenting issues changed over the last generation? How are they the same?

Some Bible Time

    15 “You shall not steal.

  • “you will live long and well in this land.” What does that mean?

Who Do I Honor

  • Parents have Authority over us.
